Tottenham transfer news: Spurs dealt Milik blow, Diaz interest, Millwall close in on Parrott

Tottenham finished on a high after their 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace on the final day of the Premier League season secured Europa League football next term.

That could prove to be extremely vital in the months ahead as Jose Mourinho looks to improve his squad by landing new recruits in the transfer market.

Additions are certainly necessary after what was a largely disappointing season overall and Mourinho will be targeting significant improvements in his first full season in charge.

Plenty of names have already been linked with a move to the club and we have gathered some of the latest snippets below.

Alasdair Gold's Spurs season debrief and the transfer window

Luis Diaz interest

Jose Mourinho is looking to raid former club Porto for the services of Luis Diaz, according to a report from Record.

The 23-year-old has caught the eye during his debut campaign in European football after signing for the Portuguese side from Colombian side Atletico Junior.

He has netted five goals in 25 league appearances for Porto, while scoring once in 14 caps for Colombia since making his international debut in 2018.

Crucially, Diaz's versatility would be a major boost to Mourinho's side as he is capable of playing across the attacking line.

Troy Parrott loan

Tottenham striker Troy Parrott is set for a medical with Championship side Millwall ahead of a season-long loan, the Evening Standard reports.

The Republic of Ireland international was repeatedly declared as 'not ready' for Premier League football by Mourinho and should have more senior opportunities with the Lions.

While there is interest in the 18-year-old from a number of Championship clubs, Spurs would prefer the teenager to remain closer to home in the capital.

Spurs have close ties with their fellow London side, with Harry Kane spending time on loan with the club in 2012.

Juventus to sign Milik

Serie A champions Juventus are set to secure the signing of Napoli forward Arkadiusz Milik, Calcio Mercato reports.

The Poland international has been linked with a host of clubs ahead of the summer transfer window and Tottenham were among the clubs attributed with a move.

However, that appears to be off the cards now as Milik is closing in on a reunion with former Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri.
