Tottenham transfer news: Juventus willing to sell Paulo Dybala to Spurs with player keen on move

Juventus are willing to sell Paulo Dybala to Tottenham Hotspur for €70m, with the London club having expressed concrete interest in the player.

The Italian champions are undertaking a required overhaul of their team and, needing to bring money in, see the Argentine as the most sellable asset.

A move to Manchester United has already broken down, but Dybala is understood to be much more interested in a move to Spurs.

Mauricio Pochettino is similarly keen on the signature.

Spurs have more to do than just match Juve's price should they continue with their pursuit, though, despite the player's interest.

They first of all have to meet his wage demands, which also involve excessive agent fees of around £10m.

They secondly have to negotiate a deal solving the issue of Dybala's image rights.

The player sold them to a separate company 10 years ago, and it means a fee must be paid to conclude any new deal.

Sources close to the negotiations however say that would be significantly lower than the £40m quoted in some Italian media, and may not be insurmountable.
