Tottenham training in Manchester - Who trained, who didn't and the three youngsters taking part

Spurs and Man City will take to the pitch in less than 24 hours in the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final clash.

The Lilywhites hold the advantage going into the game at the Etihad Stadium as Son Heung-min struck late on last Tuesday to clinch a memorable win.

Pep Guardiola's side remain the favourites to progress to the final four of the competition as they have home advantage, yet Spurs will be quietly confident of causing a surprise to qualify for the semi-finals.

Mauricio Pochettino and his team are currently in Manchester as they get set for the mouth-watering encounter.

The manager and Hugo Lloris spoke to the press at the Etihad Stadium at 4.30pm, with the team then holding a training session on the pitch to familiarise themselves with it ahead of the game.

The media were allowed to watch the first 15 minutes as the Spurs coaching staff put the players through their paces, before the team carried on as those lucky enough to get a glimpse returned inside the stadium.

Harry Kane and Dele Alli both picked up injuries in the game in north London last week and the latter returned to training with a cast on the hand he fractured in the first leg.

However, Harry Winks was not involved in the session after missing Saturday's game against Huddersfield Town with a groin injury.

There was some good news for Pochettino and his team with Erik Lamela returning to the pitch after not playing since the second leg victory over Borussia Dortmund at the start of last month due to a thigh injury.

Spurs youngsters Oliver Skipp and George Marsh were once again with the team having featured on the bench against Huddersfield, while fellow academy ace Jamie Bowden also took part in training.

Serge Aurier and Eric Dier were absent again and remain at Hotspur Way due to their respective hamstring and hip flexor injuries.
