Tottenham to play Dinamo Zagreb in Europa League last-16 after brushing aside Wolfsberger

Tottenham will face Croatian side Dinamo Zagreb in the Europa League round of 16.

Jose Mourinho's side were drawn as the away side first but the tie is likely to be reversed or moved forward a day, with Spurs' north London rivals Arsenal also picked as the away team in their last-16 tie against Olympiacos.

A reversal of the legs could benefit Spurs, with the two games set to be played on Thursday, March 11 and a week later on March 18, either side of the crucial north London derby at the Emirates Stadium on March 14.

Spurs reached the last-16 after thrashing little-known Austrian side Wolfsberger 8-1 on aggregate in the first knockout round, while Zagreb beat Russian team Krasnodar 4-2 on aggregate.

The clubs have met once before in the competition, with Harry Redknapp's Spurs running out 4-0 winners in 2009, with Luka Modric facing his former club.

Former Spurs full-back Vedran Corluka is also an ex-Dinamo player.
