Tottenham to make Eriksen offer, Bayern Munich and PSG to fight for Phillipe Coutinho

The transfer window may have slammed shut in the Premier League but European clubs are still trading this summer.

The European window is still open until the end of the month, which has left question marks hanging over several of the Premier League’s best performers.

Christian Eriksen’s future at Tottenham Hotspur is growing more uncertain by the day as his contract runs down, whilst Paul Pogba could still move away from Manchester United.

While it’s clear Phillipe Coutinho won’t be joining a Premier League club this summer, he could still be on the move to a fellow European powerhouse.

So, with so much still up in the air, here’s a look at the latest rumours from across Europe.

Tottenham to offer Eriksen deal

Tottenham are prepared to offer Christian Eriksen a new bumper 200k-a-week-deal.

The Danish playmaker has just one year left on his contract and looks destined to leave North London for free next summer.

Eriksen is believed to want a move to Spain or Italy, but Spurs are going to offer him a new deal, according to The Daily Mail.

Real Madrid and Juventus are rumoured to be interested in his services and he can sign a pre-contract with either club from January 1.

Coutinho Barcelona exit

Phillipe Coutinho is at the centre of a tug-of-war between European powerhouses Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain.

The former Liverpool playmaker has endured a torrid time at Barcelona since his £135m switch 18 months ago.

An Anfield reunion never materialised but with Antoine Griezmann signed and Neymar touted, the Brazilian look to be on his way out of the Camp Nou.

Sport claim that Bayern and PSG will go all out for signature before the European window closes.

West Ham chased PSG defender

Reports in the media today have suggested that West Ham were chasing Paris Saint-Germain defender Layvin Kurzawa this summer.

Despite having Aaron Cresswell and Arthur Masuaku as left-back options, Manuel Pelligrini was chasing the Frenchman, according to L’Equipe.

The Hammers impressed with their summer business by attracting Sebastian Haller and Pablo Fornals to the London Stadium.

However, they were unable to agree a €15m deal and the defender stayed in Paris.

Zappacosta to leave Chelsea

Chelsea outcast David Zappacosta looks to be heading to AS Roma.

The Italian is out of favour at Stamford Bridge and is behind captain Cesar Azpilicueta and youngster Reece James in the right-back pecking order.

The Blues are in talks with Roma about a potential loan-to-buy deal that would benefit all parties, according to Corriere dello Sport.

Roma are in the market for a new fullback after the departure of Rick Karsdrop who has joined Feyenoord.
