Tottenham to face Crystal Palace in FA Cup fourth round at Selhurst Park

Tottenham have been draw against Crystal Palace in the fourth round of the FA Cup, with the tie to be played at Selhurst Park.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side pulled no punches in picking apart League Two Tranmere Rovers, winning 7-0.

Fernando Llorente bagged a hat-trick while right-back Serge Aurier picked up a brace and Heung-min Son continued his excellent form with a couple of assists and a goal of his own before Pochettino introduced Harry Kane to wrap it up with the seventh.

Pochettino also handed senior debuts to youngsters George Marsh and Timothy Eyoma while midfielder Oliver Skipp was given the nod to start.

Spurs were knocked out in the semi-finals by Manchester United in the tournament last season and have not reached the final since they last won the Cup in 1991.

The fourth round ties, the final stage at which there could be a reply in this season’s competition, will be played between January 25-28.
