Sergio Reguilon is out of Tottenham’s Europa League match against Ludogorets with flu.
The Spanish left-back wasn’t training with the first-team on Wednesday ahead of Spurs' Europa League tie against the Bulgarian side having completed 90 minutes in the 2-1 Premier League victory over Brighton on Sunday.
The 23-year-old won’t be risked for Thursday night’s game with Mourinho indicating that Ben Davies will move across after playing last week’s tie against Royal Antwerp at centre-back.
“Yes. Reguilon is ill but not the Covid situation at all, just flu,” Mourinho said, with Spurs then taking on West at The Hawthorns on Sunday.
“We don't want to be with the team, he could, but he we don't want him to because that position, we have two great players and professionals.
“Ben Davies is Ben Davies so no problem with that.”
Erik Lamela, meanwhile, won’t feature again for Spurs until after the international break due to an Achilles problem.
Lamela sustained the injury against Brighton and Mourinho wants to give the playmaker the maximum recovery time to enable a full return.
Serge Aurier is the third major absentee from the game in Razgrad with the Ivorian suffering a minor injury. The 27-year-old would have been expected to start after not featuring against Brighton meaning Matt Doherty may continue at right-back.
“Lamela has a little problem for a few weeks and after the last match we decided it's the moment to stop and have this week plus the two weeks of internationals for him to recover fully,” Mourinho added.
“Aurier a little problem, nothing important but he decided with the medical team that he didn't want to risk.”
