Erik Lamela bagged a goal and an assist at the Etihad Stadium while Christian Eriksen is likely to make back-to-back starts in a Spurs shirt despite speculation surrounding his future.
As it is Pochettino has decided that Alli is not fit enough yet and has gone with Lamela, Lucas and Son in those slots, with Eriksen on the bench alongside Giovani Lo Celso.
Tanguy Ndombele misses out with a minor thing injury picked up in training this week while Ryan Sessegnon and Juan Foyth are continuing their injury rehabilitation.
In defence, Jan Vertonghen is again on the bench with Davinson Sanchez and Toby Alderweireld starting in the centre. Serge Aurier and Victor Wanyama are out of the entire squad.
