Jose Mourinho has made three changes to his Tottenham team to take on Man City at the Etihad Stadium.
Losing 5-4 in a thrilling FA Cup tie against Everton on Wednesday evening, the Spurs boss was always going to shake things up ahead of the game against the Premier League leaders.
Japhet Tanganga and Eric Dier both come into the backline following the midweek defeat, with Matt Doherty and Toby Alderweireld the two to miss out.
Harry Kane is also recalled to the starting XI in place of Steven Bergwijn after starting on the bench at Goodison Park.
Gareth Bale, who was absent entirely from the matchday squad at Goodison Park, is back on the bench.
Following City's FA Cup victory over Swansea City in midweek, Pep Guardiola's team have now won 15 games on the bounce in all competitions.
Initially struggling to begin with this season, City have gone up a gear or two since the reverse fixture at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium back in November when the Lilywhites ran out 2-0 winners.
Asked in his pre-match press conference if it is now the toughest challenge in European football to beat City in this form, he replied: "They are a very good team. They are a very, very good team, with a fantastic run of results, no doubts about that.
"It's always difficult to play against Man City, that's no doubt. There's nothing new about it. They are probably now the biggest candidate to win the title, which is not a big surprise."
Here is the Tottenham team Mourinho has chosen:
Tottenham XI vs Man City: Lloris, Tanganga, Sanchez, Dier, Davies, Hojbjerg, Ndombele, Lamela, Lucas, Son, Kane
Subs: Hart, Alderweireld, Doherty, Winks, Sissoko, Dele, Bale, Bergwijn, Vinicius
