Tottenham team news and starting line-up: Dele Alli starts

Dele Alli overcame a hamstring injury to start Tottenham's meeting with Wolves at Wembley.

The Spurs star missed Boxing Day's 5-0 win over Bournemouth with a knock picked up against Everton but recovered in time for Saturday's Wembley meeting.

Meanwhile, Jan Vertonghen (thigh) and Victor Wanyama (knee) are continuing their on-field rehabilitation and Eric Dier (appendicitius) is out of the meeting with Wolves.

Serge Aurier, who suffered a groin injury ahead of the draw with Barcelona earlier this month, is back in training, while Mousa Dembele is in the final stages of rehab.

Spurs jumped above Manchester City in the Premier League table with victory over Bournemouth on Boxing Day and can cut Liverpool's title lead to three points with a win at Wembley.
