Tottenham team confirmed vs Wolves: Son, Porro and Perisic start with Dier on bench

Tottenham Hotspur are looking make amends after their FA Cup exit at Sheffield United as they take on Wolverhampton Wanderers coming up less than 72 hours after.

Spurs boss Antonio Conte will return to the club on Sunday after the game, meaning one more match as the main man in the dugout for assistant head coach Cristian Stellini, who lost his 100% record in charge with the cup defeat at Bramall Lane. With Liverpool trying to close in on the top four and Newcastle hoping to regain their spot in it, fourth-placed Tottenham must continue a run of form in the Premier League that has brought four wins from their past five matches.

Harry Kane, Oliver Skipp, Clement Lenglet, Cristian Romero and Dejan Kulusevski all come back into the team with relatively fresh legs while Emerson Royal has recovered from a knee issue in time for the game, but remains on the bench with Pedro Porro keeping his place.

At centre-back, Spurs appear to be looking at the game with Wednesday in mind, with Eric Dier suspended for that Champions League match and Cristian Romero, Clement Lenglet and Ben Davies start together, perhaps to get them ready for that game.

Up front, a decision had to be made between Son Heung-min and Richarlison, both of whom struggled to make an impact in the FA Cup match, and it's Son who gets the nod with the fresh legs of the underused Arnaut Danjuma remaining on the bench.

Here is the team Conte and Stellini have selected:

Forster; Romero, Lenglet, Davies; Porro, Hojbjerg, Skipp, Perisic; Kulusevski, Kane, Son. Subs: Austin, Sanchez, Tanganga, Dier, Emerson, Sarr, Danjuma, Lucas, Richarlison.
