The Portuguese must balance this tough cup match with Sunday's north London derby at Arsenal as he looks to get Spurs back on track after back-to-back defeats in the Premier League.
Espirito Santo has named a starting XI mixed with those who started in the defeat against Chelsea and some fresh legs.
One such mix is his central defensive pairing of Davinson Sanchez and summer signing Cristian Romero, with his Atalanta colleague Pierluigi Gollini in goal.
Japhet Tanganga is back from suspension and plays at right-back but Lucas Moura and Steven Bergwijn remain out through injury.
