Tottenham team confirmed vs Shkendija: Joe Hart starts, Harry Kane on bench but Dele Alli's back

Jose Mourinho has made a number of changes to his Tottenham Hotspur team to take on Shkendija in the Europa League third qualifying round.

With the called off Leyton Orient match Mourinho had a nearly full squad of refreshed players to choose from.

He is still missing Japhet Tanganga through injury, although the young defender has begun his outdoor return, while Gareth Bale will not be back in action until next month with his knee problem.

Winks: Reguilon is a humble guy

Mourinho explained that Sergio Reguilon is not ready yet to play and was not registered for the game.

Dele Alli was left out of the trip to Bulgaria last week but he travelled to North Macedonia and is back in the team.

Harry Kane and Hugo Lloris are on the bench along with Giovani Lo Celso.

Joe Hart is given a start in goal after missing out on his debut at Orient on Tuesday night and Serge Aurier comes into the team, while Tanguy Ndombele starts a second consecutive match for the first time with two matches in 2020.

Here is the team Mourinho has chosen to play in North Macedonia:

Hart; Aurier, Alderweireld, Sanchez, Davies; Winks, Ndombele; Lamela, Alli, Bergwijn; Son. Subs: Lloris, Doherty, Dier, Sissoko, Lo Celso, Lucas, Kane.
