Tottenham team confirmed vs Leicester: Ndombele and Lo Celso start, Bale on bench, Dele out

Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho has made a couple of key changes as his side take on Leicester City on Sunday afternoon in the Premier League.

Third-placed Spurs welcomes the Foxes, who sit one place below them in the Premier League table, at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Jose Mourinho's men will be looking to get back to winning ways after the 2-1 defeat at Liverpool on Wednesday night and 1-1 draw at Crystal Palace.

Mourinho was pleased with how his team performed at Anfield but he needed to add some fresh legs for another tough fixture against Brendan Rodgers' men.

Sergio Reguilon returns at left-back while Tanguy Ndombele is back in midfield, meaning the Frenchman and Lo Celso start a Premier League game together this season for the first time.

Gareth Bale has missed the past two matches with illness, but after training with the team after the Liverpool game he is back on the bench.

Steven Bergwijn, who got into some great positions against Liverpool but also failed to covert the big chances that came from them, drops down to the bench.

Mourinho and the Spurs players have backed Bergwijn this week after he suffered abuse online following Wednesday's defeat.

Dele Alli, who has been gradually getting himself back into the picture in the Premier League this week, is not on the bench despite nine substitutes now allowed on there.

Here is the team Mourinho has chosen:

Lloris; Aurier, Alderweireld, Dier, Reguilon; Sissoko, Hojbjerg; Lo Celso, Ndombele, Son; Kane. Subs: Hart, Doherty, Rodon, Davies, Winks, Bergwijn, Lucas, Bale, Vinicius.
