Tottenham team confirmed vs Leeds United: Conte names Harry Winks and Japhet Tanganga in side

Antonio Conte has made a couple of changes to his Tottenham Hotspur side as they welcome Leeds United in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

In what is the first home Premier League game of his era at the club, Conte has had to make adjustments to his team following an international break that has not been kind to Spurs, with a couple of injuries and a few knocks and bumps on top of Oliver Skipp's suspension.

Skipp is replaced by Harry Winks in the centre of the pitch alongside Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, with Winks making his first Premier League start since Tottenham's defeat at Crystal Palace in September.

Conte is also without Cristian Romero following the 23-year-old's defender's injury on international duty with Argentina.

Japhet Tanganga steps into his place on the right-hand side of the back three to take on Leeds.

Giovani Lo Celso returned from international duty with an issue and he misses out on the matchday squad while, Tanguy Ndombele, who Conte told football.london needed to work harder than everyone and work for the team, remains on the bench.

Also on the bench is Steven Bergwijn will be hoping to push his claims for minutes after his goalscoring display for the Netherlands to help them secure World Cup qualification.

Here is the Tottenham team Conte has gone with:

Lloris; Tanganga, Dier, Davies; Emerson, Hojbjerg, Winks, Reguilon; Lucas, Kane, Son.

Subs: Gollini, Doherty, Rodon, Sanchez, Sessegnon, Ndombele, Alli, Bergwijn, Gil.
