Tottenham team confirmed vs Crystal Palace: Aurier back, Dele Alli in squad but Gareth Bale ill

Jose Mourinho has named Dele Alli in a Premier League matchday squad for only the third time this season as Tottenham Hotspur take on Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Sunday afternoon.

Matches at Selhurst Park are normally tight affairs and Mourinho's men will have to find a way through in a different way and the Portuguese has plenty of attacking options to choose from.

The fans sang Alli's name on Wednesday night but the 24-year-old did not get any minutes in the Europa League win against Royal Antwerp.

However, he is back in a matchday squad because Gareth Bale has not travelled with the team as he is suffering from the flu.

Harry Winks, who was also taken off on Thursday night, is not in the squad.

Giovani Lo Celso made his case with a goalscoring performance in midweek in the Europa League but Mourinho appears to have decided that three starts in a week right now is too much for the Argentine and Tanguy Ndombele is back in the team.

Serge Aurier is fit again to play at right-back after the injury he suffered in the warm-up but played with against Arsenal before missing the midweek Europa League match.

Steven Bergwijn returns to the starting line-up, with Carlos Vinicius - another who was taken off on Thursday night - travelling but not making the bench today, with Lo Celso, Alli and Lucas Moura the attacking options.

Here's the team Mourinho has chosen for the derby:

Lloris (C), Aurier, Alderweireld, Dier, Reguilon, Hojbjerg, Sissoko, Ndombele, Bergwijn, Son, Kane. Subs: Hart, Davies, Doherty, Rodon, Lo Celso, Dele, Lucas.
