Tottenham team confirmed vs Burnley: Hugo Lloris, Tanguy Ndombele and Erik Lamela start

Jose Mourinho has named his Tottenham side for this evening's Premier League clash at Burnley.

The Lilywhites head to Turf Moor in desperate need of a win having lost their last four games on the bounce.

Previously losing against Chelsea, RB Leipzig and Wolves, Spurs then crashed out of the FA Cup on Wednesday evening as Norwich City beat them on penalties.

The team remain five points off the top four and they really do need to get back on track with a win sooner rather than later if they want to be playing in the Champions League next season.

Burnley v Tottenham: Jose Mourinho press conference

Mourinho has been given a big boost for the game at Burnley as Hugo Lloris has returned from a groin injury after missing the last two games.

Oliver Skipp, Tanguy Ndombele and Erik Lamela all start but there is no place for Ben Davies in the squad.

Speaking to the media at his pre-match press conference on Friday afternoon, the head coach opened up on the trip to Turf Moor and facing Sean Dyche's in-form side.

"Many teams go there and lose because of course it is not easy, they are in a fantastic moment," he said.

"When we played them the first time, the situation is impossible to repeat because Kane, Son and Sissoko they score and tomorrow they are not going to score. We have to find a way to score because we want to win the match.

"Lots of respect for Sean, the players and their mentality and stability. It is going to be difficult."

Here's the team Mourinho has named for the Burnley game:

Spurs XI: Lloris, Tanganga, Alderweireld, Dier, Sanchez, Vertonghen; Skipp, Ndombele; Lamela, Bergwijn, Alli.

Substitutes: Gazzaniga, Aurier, Sessegnon, Winks, Lo Celso, Lucas, Gedson.
