Tottenham team confirmed vs Birmingham: Harry Kane returns to the bench as Joe Hart starts

Jose Mourinho has shuffled his pack as Tottenham Hotspur host Birmingham City in their second friendly within 24 hours.

Spurs overcame Reading on Friday afternoon with a 4-1 victory and Mourinho used 22 different players during the game, including all three senior goalkeepers.

Against Birmingham, he has changed up his starting XI with a number of changes and Harry Kane returns to the bench after having to isolate following his holiday.

Teenagers Dennis Cirkin, Harvey White and Jack Clarke start as does summer signing Joe Hart.

The only players to start both matches are Lucas Moura, White, Eric Dier, who captains the side, and Gedson Fernandes.

The full team is: Hart, Aurier, Dier, Carter-Vickers, Cirkin, White, Sissoko, Clarke, Gedson, Sessegnon, Lucas.

The subs are: Lloris, Gazzaniga, Bowden, Davies, Devine, Scarlett, Hojbjerg, Bergwijn, Son, Dele, Kane.

Harry Winks, Japhet Tanganga, Giovani Lo Celso, Davinson Sanchez, Tanguy Ndombele, Danny Rose and Juan Foyth are not part of the squad.

Toby Alderweireld, after playing 90 minutes in both friendly matches is also not involved.

Spurs face another friendly next Saturday at Watford, which will feature those players who have not headed off on international duty.

Jose Mourinho's men then start the Premier League season on Sunday September 13 with the visit of Everton to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
