Tottenham target THREE new signings as they push to wrap up Eberechi Eze deal

Tottenham are hoping to make three more signings before the end of the window, as they push to complete a deal for Eberechi Eze.

The focus for now is on wrapping up a move for the Crystal Palace star, but Spurs are also looking to add a winger and another centre-back to Thomas Frank's squad this summer.

No final agreement has yet been reached for a deal that would bring Eze to north London, but further talks with a view to concluding negotiations are expected today.

Discussions with Crystal Palace are believed to be progressing and Eze has made it clear that he wants to join Spurs. Personal terms are not expected to be an issue.

It could prove to be a busy final ten days of the transfer window for Spurs, who ideally want to strengthen out wide and add further depth in defence as well.

Savinho had been a key target, with Frank keen on bringing in the Manchester City winger to fill the gap left by Heung-min Son's departure.

The 21-year-old would likely have been used primarily on the left wing, but his versatility was one of the appealing factors to Spurs.

However, Manchester City's stance is that they are unwilling to sell the winger and a deal looks difficult, meaning Spurs appear increasingly likely to have to turn their attention to other targets.

While the transfer focus has been further up the pitch, there are also plans to try and bring in a centre-back before the window shuts on September 1.

Radu Dragusin remains out with an ACL injury he suffered in January and Spurs will understandably be cautious with his recovery.

Summer signing Kota Takai has missed pre-season with a foot injury, while there have been suggestions that the club would be willing to let Luka Vuskovic leave on loan.

There is therefore a desire to bring in another centre-back to provide competition and ensure workloads can be managed, particularly after the injury problems suffered by Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven last season.

Mohammed Kudus and Takai are the only permanent signings Spurs have made so far this summer, in addition to bringing in Joao Palhinha on loan from Bayern Munich.
