Tottenham 'target' six summer signings as Inter Milan ace on Fabio Paratici's transfer shortlist

Antonio Conte's first transfer window with Tottenham Hotspur looks set to be a busy one. The veteran Italian coach replaced Nuno Espirito Santo in Spurs' managerial hot-seat back in November of last year and he has since helped improve his side's defensive frailties, with the Lillywhites currently sitting fourth in the Premier League.

Even though Spurs are able to secure UEFA Champions League football for next season, the former Chelsea boss will still be keen to bolster his squad this summer in an attempt to win the club their first trophy since 2008.

With that being said, football.london has rounded up the latest Tottenham transfer news as the likes of Denzel Dumfries and Gleison Bremer have both been linked with a move to N17 over the last 24 hours.

Conte's summer plans

According to The Telegraph, Conte wants to bring in as many as six new first-team signings this summer. The former Inter Milan head coach is said to be pleased with the progress he has made with the club this season but is desperate to improve his squad at the end of the current campaign.

Torino defenders Gleison Bremer and Wilfried Singo are reportedly on the Lillywhites' radar, with a move to re-sign Christian Eriksen on a free transfer also potentially an option whilst football.london understands that while the Danish international didn't part Spurs on the best terms with its hierarchy, he loved the club and is believed to want to remain in the English capital.

The report also claims that Tottenham will need to sign a number of homegrown players, which could mean the likes of Middlesbrough fullback Djed Spence or West Bromwich Albion goalkeeper Sam Johnstone are targeted.

Dumfries move

According to Italian outlet Tuttosport, Tottenham have made contact with Italian outfit Inter Milan for wingback Denzel Dumfries. Still, the report also says that German side Bayern Munich are also interested in Dutch international.

Dumfries joined the Nerazzurri last summer, replacing Moroccan star Achraf Hakimi, who joined Paris Saint-Germain. It is reported that a £35million bid could convince the reigning Serie A champions to part ways with the 26-year-old.
