Spurs target set to extend Roma stay
Fabrizio Romano has told The Here We Go Podcast that Fabio Paratici is a fan of Roma midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini, but the Italian star is set to sign a new contract with the Giallorossi.
Reports had claimed that he had a release clause of around £25.9million, with Tottenham keen on signing him.
However, a move never materialised and it looks as though Pellegrini will stay with Roma.
Thorstvedt reveals Tottenham transfer dream
Genk midfielder Kristian Thorstvedt has revealed that signing for Tottenham Hotspur is his ‘dream’.
His father, Erik Thorstvedt, spent eight years as a goalkeeper at Tottenham and established himself as the number one at White Hart Lane for much of that time.
Now it seems as though the youngster wants to follow in his father's footsteps and play for Spurs.
“It has always been Spurs for me. I am happy in Belgium. I have lots of games to look forward to in the league, the domestic cup and in the European cup,” he told Norwegian outlet Dagsavisen.

Pochettino nearly completed Hakimi transfer at Spurs
When asked about the arrival of highly-rated right-back Achraf Hakimi from Inter Milan this summer, PSG boss Mauricio Pochettino admitted that he came close to signing the Moroccan for Spurs prior to his loan move to Borussia Dortmund.
"Achraf is a young player [I have] been following since [I was] at Tottenham," he explained. "We were on the edge of signing him for Tottenham, but then he went to play for Dortmund,” he said, whilst speaking to UEFA.com.
