Son Heung-min is trying everything in his power to help Tottenham Hotspur's record signing Tanguy Ndombele settle in as smoothly as possible.
The France international sealed his £63m transfer last month and has already made quite the impression on manager Mauricio Pochettino as well as his teammates.
After claiming an assist just minutes into his debut against Juventus a couple of weeks ago, Son revealed how the pair are getting on.
"I'm really, really enjoying being with him. He's a funny guy," Son said. "I've tried to speak to him, we understand each other very, very well.
"I can't wait to play together. He's an unbelievable player we've signed. He needs time, the players next to him have to help.
"I wish I could speak French! I've tried to speak a lot to him – I don't know if it's helpful! He's a quality player. He knows how to play so I don't have to speak a lot. It's most important he feels at home."
But one thing Son can do is handshakes and a clip him attempting to create a special one with Ndombele has emerged online.
Prompting a huge reaction from Spurs fans on reddit.
Take a look at the clip below as well as the responses...
Whilst Son attempts to work on this embrace with Ndombele, it's unlikely that one with Pochettino will be created any time soon.
“I don’t have one with the gaffer,” he told FourFourTwo . “I just say, ‘Hello’.
"I’m too scared to try it with him!”
