Tottenham struggling to sell Champions League tickets for Red Star Belgrade clash

Tottenham are struggling to sell out tomorrow’s Champions League clash against Red Star Belgrade.

Uefa have banned the Serbians from selling tickets to their fans as a punishment for racist chanting, leaving Spurs with the full allocation.

Tickets have been on sale to the club’s 48,000 season ticket-holders since September 30, but many remain unsold as Mauricio Pochettino seeks to end a miserable run of results.

Spurs will not put tickets on general sale in case they are bought by opposition fans, while members who joined less than a month ago are also unable to buy them. In a bid to boost sales, Spurs have put tickets on guest sale, meaning season ticket-holders and members can buy up to three additional seats.

UEFA have allowed Red Star to bring 200 supporters with Category 1 tickets. They will be seated in hospitality areas, rather than the designated away end.
