Shayon Harrison has a new club.
The 22-year-old forward was removed from the squad pages on the Tottenham Hotspur website prior to confirmation over his move to Almere City.
A mid-table side in the Dutch second division last season, they will be hoping to put the young striker's talents to good use.
Harrison left Spurs with a strong record at Premier League 2 level having scored 24 goals in 48 games, and also featured in the senior team in a single EFL Cup match against Liverpool in 2016.
In 2017 he was sent on the first of three loans joining Yeovil Town before spells with Southend United and Australian side Melbourne City, with whom he scored four goals in 11 appearances last season.
On his official Twitter account, the forward sent a message to Spurs.
"Delight to join Almere City FC," he wrote. "Looking forward to this new and exciting chapter. Can’t wait to get started!
"Thank you to everyone at Tottenham Hotspur who have helped me along the way in my career."
In a statement posted on the official Almere City website, Harrison added: "I am very happy to be here. I think the way of playing football in the Netherlands suits me well and that I can further develop myself at Almere City FC.
"The staff and players have already warmly welcomed me. I hope to make as many goals as possible this season and help the club in the battle for promotion."
