Tottenham defender Serge Aurier was arrested on suspicion of assault on Saturday night after an alleged incident involving him and his girlfriend.
The 26-year-old was held by police on suspicion of ABH just hours before Spurs were beaten 1-0 by Man Utd on Sunday at Wembley.
Aurier, who was an unused substitute for the game, denied assaulting Haitian TV celebrity Hencha Voigt, 31.
It was then confirmed by Hertfordshire Police that he had been released without charge.
A statement read: “A 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of ABH. He has been released with no further action.”
A Tottenham spokesman confirmed: “We are aware of an incident concerning Serge Aurier this weekend. The player was released without charge.”
The Ivory Coast international has made 12 appearances for the club this season, scoring two goals.
