Tottenham Hotspur defender Ben Davies has returned to the club's Hotspur Way training complex to begin his rehabilitation after his recent operation.
The 26-year-old Welshman has been suffered with a hernia problem for much of the season but put off his operation in order to be available for the Champions League final.
There was then a further delay meant Davies was able to play in Wales' two European Championship qualifying matches this month.
He eventually had the operation on June 13 and the club said at the time that "Ben will now undertake a period of rehabilitation and is expected to resume training with the squad during pre-season."
On Tuesday Davies revealed in an Instagram story post that he was back at the club's Enfield training ground to work on his rehabilitation ahead of the new season with the message 'hard work starts now'.
The left-back is not the only Spurs player to have returned to the club this summer as they continue their injury recoveries.
Among others, 17-year-old Irish striker Troy Parrott, who is expected to join up with Mauricio Pochettino's first team more regularly next season, was back at Hotspur Way earlier this month working on his rehabilitation after a leg injury suffered in the final U23s match of the season.
