Tottenham have been one of the busiest sides this summer so far. Antonio Conte's side has already made five signings after his unlikely top-four finish last season, booking Spurs a return to the Champions League.
It mirrors what the Italian said about the window back in May: "We need to improve a lot. Next season the league will be very difficult for all the teams. With five subs, you can change a game.
"If the bench is strong like a top team, like City, Chelsea, United and Liverpool, you need to improve a lot your squad in quality aspect and numerical aspect. You have to face in England three national competitions and one in the Champions League."

And whilst more arrivals may be expected, the head coach has been bold in outlining who he sees in his project for the future. Four key players were purposefully left out of the club’s pre-season tour of South Korea, with Sergio Reguillon, Tanguy Ndombele, Harry Winks and Giovanni Lo Celso all continuing their training at Hotspur Way.
In the midst of that huge decision, it’s Lo Celso that is being linked with a move away from the club. Marca reports that his agent, Kia Joorabchianm, is looking for solutions to his current situation.
The report adds that Villarreal are interested in a permanent switch for the 26-year-old, who spent the previous season on loan with the La Liga side. However, if Spurs look to recoup their transfer fee of roughly £30million from back in 2020, it could cause a problem for Unai Emery’s team.
If they aren’t able to match that valuation, it remains to be seen where the Argentina international will end up.
