Heung-min Son has urged fans to stay away from the site of his military service amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Tottenham have given Son permission to undertake mandatory military service in South Korea during the Premier League shutdown, but specific details of his assignment have been kept on the hush to prevent large crowds gathering.
The 27-year-old returned to South Korea last month but is not due to start his three-week stint until April 20.
"Due to the Covid-19 situation, we need to restrain ourselves from a large gathering," a statement on Son's official Facebook page warned.
"To cooperate with the government's policy for Covid-19, Son has decided to join the training 'not open to the public', without giving any information in advance.
"To prevent any more harm from Covid-19, please restrain yourself from coming on-site to see Son."
Son was recovering from surgery after fracturing his right arm when professional football was suspended last month, but will be fit to play when football eventually returns after his stint with the military.
