Tottenham star Harry Kane told to complete transfer but not to Man Utd or Man City

Brazilian legend Rivaldo has suggested that a move to La Liga could suit Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane.

Kane's future has been called into question in recent days after reports emerged that the 27-year-old is considering his options amid talk of a move away from Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer.

Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea are three of the clubs listed as the most likely destinations for the England international.

Many expect Kane to remain in England as he bids to overtake Alan Shearer as the Premier League's all-time top scorer, though Rivaldo believes a move to Barcelona or Real Madrid should be a consideration.

"There are growing rumours about Harry Kane's exit from Tottenham. All the big English and European clubs are looking very interested," expressed the World Cup winner, speaking to Betfair.

Rivaldo added: "Despite not being at the top of the betting right now I think that he could fit very well at Barcelona or Real Madrid. He is a great player with great skills around the box and the sort of prolific goal scorer who would bring a lot to any of these clubs.

"If Kane decided to leave England to avoid hurting Spurs fans hearts, perhaps there's a chance of him considering a move to La Liga. Of course, Barca or Madrid will need to invest a lot of money to capture the England striker and both clubs would need to be sure that Kane would fit with their managers' plans."

Although a move to La Liga may appear an attractive proposition, Kane may have dropped the biggest hint yet as to where he sees himself playing next.

In conversation with Gary Neville on the Sky Sports pundit's YouTube channel, the prolific forward provided a revealing answer when asked which player in the world he would most like to play alongside.

“Oh, Kevin De Bruyne for sure," Kane told Neville.

“When I watch De Bruyne play, he’s a special, special player and some of the balls I see him put in for City are just a striker’s dream if I’m honest. He’s outstanding, an outstanding player with the ball, off the ball, pressing. But his delivery is as good as I’ve ever seen.”
