Tottenham squad value increases but Spurs still trail Manchester United and Liverpool

Tottenham Hotspur remain in the top 10 when it comes to most valuable squads in the world.

The Lilywhites sit 10th in the latest figures released by Transfermarkt, which is below the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United, but above north London rivals Arsenal so bragging rights remain intact.

Furthermore, they have a more valuable squad than Serie A giants Juventus who have Cristiano Ronaldo in their ranks.

However, Spurs trail the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and European champions Bayern Munich.

Marine v Tottenham: FA Cup third-round preview

A few months ago, the overall value of the squad was £660.20m which meant the squad value had decreased by £116.95m since March 2020 when at £777.15m and they were the Premier League's third most valuable club after smashing their transfer record to sign Tanguy Ndombele from Lyon in the summer of 2019.

Following the arrivals of Sergio Reguilon, Gareth Bale (on loan), Carlos Vinícius (on loan), Matt Doherty, Joe Hart, and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg last summer the overall market value of Tottenham's squad has increased slightly to £668.30m.

That an increase of just over £8m.

Unsurprisingly, Harry Kane is the most valuable player across the entire Spurs squad.

The England international, who has started the season in superb form, has a market value of £108m which makes him the only player to be in the three-digit bracket.

Son Heung-min, Dele Alli, Davinson Sanchez and Ndombele complete the top five, while Reguilon and Hojbjerg's values have increased after a solid start to life in north London.

With that said, the Premier League’s spending power is demonstrated with as many as six clubs inside the top 15.
