Mourinho faces selection headache ahead of Premier League return
Spurs boss Jose Mourinho still appears to be none the wiser as to his best defensive set up.
Since taking charge of the Lilywhites in November, Spurs have kept just three clean sheets in 26 matches.
The enforced break will have given Mourinho time to assess his options but lack of practical application makes it still difficult to determine a suitable backline.
Football London’s Rob Guest takes a look at the possibilities available to the Tottenham manager.
Spurs squad set to benefit from new ruling
As Mourinho attempts to find the right formula in N17, the manager will have a fully fit squad to pick from for the first time since his arrival.
This means that players left out of the starting eleven may have to make do with a place on the bench although that might not be a disaster in the current climate.
One the new rules for football’s return is the increase of subs allowed per match, up from three to five.
This means that more players will have the opportunity to see action from week to week.

Former Spurs boss issues Harry Kane warning
Harry Rednapp believes it is ‘possible’ that Harry Kane will leave the club if they fail to win the Premier League.
Kane, who has scored 197 goals in 343 appearances for the club, has been linked with a move away from Spurs, with Manchester United said to be particularly keen.
Redknapp, who managed the club between 2008 and 2012, feels that Kane’s ambition could see his head turned.
“I suppose it’s always a possibility,” he told talkSPORT when asked if the player could move on.
“I’d like to see him stay, but they do need to win something. It’s been a long time and you can only see them winning a cup competition.
“It’s a difficult one, I’m sure [Kane] loves the club, he’s come through the youth system and it’s his team, but he’s also ambitious and I would think if it doesn’t happen this year he could possibly look to move on.”
