Tottenham squad revealed ahead of Marseille game with Richarlison, Kulusevski, Romero ruled out

Tottenham know that their destiny is in their own hands as they travel to France to face Marseille in a decisive Champions League clash.

Spurs need a point to secure a passage into the knockout stages but are aware that defeat to Marseille will leave them out of the competition as a dramatic and close group reaches its conclusion. Drawing will ensure that only one of Sporting Lisbon or Frankfurt can finish above them as the two sides on seven points face off in the other match.

A win cements top spot whilst losing would result in failure to make it out of the group stage, due to Sporting's superior head-to-head record over Tottenham. Antonio Conte will also be unavailable on the touchline for the match after he was sent off in the wake of Harry Kane's disallowed late goal against Sporting that would have sent them through last week.

Conte is unable to be around his before or during the match and will have to watch on from the stands. His side should be buoyed by a late comeback against Bournemouth though, winning the game in injury time on the south coast 3-2.

Speaking after the game, Conte admitted that it will do his side some good. "In the end, I think it was vital for us this win, especially after two losses in the Premier League, and now this win has given us enthusiasm and passion for going into Marseille and for playing a final. This game will be a final for us to go to the next round of the Champions League."

It was revealed earlier today (October 31) that Richarlison, Dejan Kulusevski and Cristian Romero all missed training ahead of the match, and Spurs assistant manager Christian Stellini subsequently confirmed in his media conference ahead of the game that all three will indeed miss out.

None of them were involved against Bournemouth but Richarlison did score both goals in the first gameweek 2-0 win vs Marseille.

Here's the expected full Tottenham full squad Vs Marseille:

Goalkeeper: Hugo Lloris, Fraser Forster, Brandon Austin

Defence: Matt Doherty, Davinson Sanchez, Eric Dier, Cristian Romero [doubt], Ryan Sessegnon, Djed Spence, Japhet Tanganga, Ben Davies, Clement Lenglet, Ivan Perisic, Emerson Royal

Midfield: Oliver Skipp, Pierre Emile Hojbjerg, Pape Matar Sarr, Rodrigo Bentancur, Yves Bissouma, Harvey White

Attack: Harry Kane, Bryan Gil, Lucas Moura, Son Heung-min
