Cardiff manager Neil Warnock believes that Tottenham Hotspur should be forced to play their home matches at Wembley for the remainder of the season.
Spurs bounced back from Saturday's shock home defeat to Wolves with a 3-0 win that saw Harry Kane, Christian Eriksen and Son Heung-min score inside the opening 26 minutes.
The victory took Spurs back above City into second place and within six points of leaders Liverpool, with Cardiff just three points above the relegation places.
And Warnock is worried that Cardiff’s relegation rivals could gain an unfair advantage by playing Tottenham at they settle into their new stadium.
Spurs are expected to issue another update on their moving-in date in the first week of January.
“The league should enforce they play at Wembley for the rest of the season,” said Warnock.
“There shouldn't be any chance of an advantage for our opponents. It's not our fault - we should have been playing at the new stadium ourselves.
“I think they should step in now and rather than six or seven weeks, they should make it until the end of the season now and enforce it now.”
