Here is your Tottenham Hotspur morning digest for Saturday, May 8.
Spurs to reject Kane offers
Sportslens report that Spurs will not accept any offers for Harry Kane this summer.
The talismanic forward's future has been widely speculated upon, with Kane himself recently revealing his desire to win trophies.
That led to claims that Kane may look to leave the club should they fail to qualify for the Champions League this season.
Yet, with the player under contract until 2024, Spurs have no plans to accept any offers for the player, claiming he is still happy at the club.
Fans' anger at ticket prices
Spurs fans are unhappy at the price of tickets for their return to the stadium.
With 10,000 fans set to return to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for their final home game of the season against Aston Villa - subject to government confirmation - the club have announced ticket prices for the game, and they have not gone down well.
Tickets will cost £60 for adults, £45 for young adults and £30 for concessions.
With Spurs' London rivals announcing cheaper tickets, fans are unhappy at the prices from their club.
Martin Cloake, co-chair of the Tottenham Hotspur Supporters' Trust, tweeted: "It takes a special kind of intelligence to turn the return of fans after a year locked out into a PR disaster. When is the @SpursOfficial board going to live in the real world? Sometimes it's not everyone else that is out of step. It's you."
His co-chair Kat Law held a poll on Twitter with 81.4 per cent of the 1,870 fans responding saying that the £60 price was "extortionate".
She also tweeted to Spurs: "Any chance of explaining why it’s a flat £60 price when fans are literally selecting their own seats? Why are they not paying the actual price for that actual seat? £60 is WAY higher than the average B cat in MANY areas. Disappointing."
Mason's Bale admission
Ryan Mason has admitted he is unsure what he has done for Gareth Bale's agent to state his client is happy at the club.
Jonathan Barnett said Bale had endured a 'tough ride' under Jose Mourinho, but is happier now, having recently scored a hat-trick against Sheffield United.
Interim Spurs boss Mason admits he does not know what his role in Bale's newfound happiness has been.
"I don't know," he said. "I pick the team from training and performances and certain individuals who I feel will help the team in that match.
"The game against Southampton, we really felt we needed Gareth [Bale] because Harry [Kane] was missing and we felt we needed someone we could rely on to provide that moment.
"We’ve got so many options in that high end of the pitch, so much quality, such professionals who are working hard each day.
"There’s difficult decisions to make but Gareth has proved in the last couple of weeks that he’s still got that quality in the final third. Let’s hope it continues."
