Tottenham sent Nottingham Forest warning after AC Milan exit

Nottingham Forest supporters appear to be feeling confident ahead of their Premier League clash at Tottenham Hotspur this Saturday (3pm).

Spurs were knocked out of the Champions League round-of-16 to AC Milan after being unable to reverse a 1-0 defeat from the first leg tie in Italy. And Forest fans watched the game closely as the home side put in a lacklustre display, registering just two shots on target.

With Steve Cooper's side heading to north London this weekend, some believe the Reds can get something out of the game and improve their record on the road.

Here is what the Reds' faithful have said on social media...

Charlie: "Don't think there's a better time to play Spurs and Newcastle so roll on a 6-1 aggregate defeat."

Andrew Finch: "Champions of Europe, you'll never sing that... NFFC fans 6 seconds after kick-off this Saturday at Spurs!"

ThatGaribaldiNerd: "Spurs smash us 4+ or we battle out a depressing (in their eyes) 1 nil don't see any in between here."

Lewis Morris: "We honestly need to go at Spurs at the weekend they’re shocking. And in a right rut. No better time to play them. Go at them early the crowd will turn on them Conte. We’ve got to be so encouraged watching that shower tonight."

Connor Storer-Fry: "Spurs away isn't even a free hit, we can actually go there and get a result."

David: "Spurs have no direction & are stuck on repeat, so dull & drab. We've got to use that as motivation this weekend, done it once V them this season. Don't be scared of them lads."

Stuart McRae: "Spurs will think it's 3 points in the bag against NFFC. Starting line up could be a right upset."

Max Goodwin: "I actually back us to get something against this Spurs team. So 1-dimensional. If we can sit in a deep block, they won’t know how to break through, other than pass to Kulu."

TheJWRB: "Watching that Spurs performance as NFFC fan has to be the biggest confidence booster in the world."

Andrew: "Spurs were so bad... It can only mean one thing. We're getting hammered on Saturday."

DavidRads: "This Spurs performance should give me the confidence that we can get something Saturday, but then I remember it's an away game. We can dream."

PremierLeagueForest: "I hope Spurs are this lacklustre on Saturday."

Fred: "Spurs aren't good at all. If we're not negative on Saturday, we can beat them. Was the same with the game at The City Ground."
