The summer transfer window is officially closed, and Tottenham Hotspur will be breathing a huge sigh of relief.
Clubs in the Premier League had their deadline day on the eve of the new season while clubs across Europe had until September 2 to wrap up their business.
But now that the things have settled down, football.london takes a look at the business that Spurs were able to get done.
In total, Tottenham completed the signing of four new arrivals after forking out over £100million on Tanguy Ndombele, Jack Clarke, Ryan Sessegnon and Giovani Lo Celso.
This included the loan feel paid to Real Betis for Argentine midfielder.
In addition to this, Spurs recouped in the region of £31million as they allowed some of their fringe stars to move on.
This included deals for the likes of Kieran Trippier, Vincent Janssen, Georges-Kevin N-Koudou and Marcus Edwards, which gives Tottenham a net spend of around £70million based on fees that are guaranteed rather than add-ons or options that have yet to be triggered.
If add-ons are included it could cost Spurs in the region of £9million extra for Ndombele, plus another £5million for Sessegnon - not to mention a substantial fee if they activate the option to sign Lo Celso permanently.
However this could be reduced due to the indicated 50% sell-on that Spurs have in place for Marcus Edwards.
