Tottenham's Jack Clarke in the away end as Leeds lose at Arsenal in FA Cup

Jack Clarke is settling into life as a Tottenham player pretty well.

The 19-year-old moved from Leeds United in the summer before heading back to his boyhood club for the season. Limited opportunities - he has played just 19 minutes in the Championship - has prompted Spurs to end the loan move early with a view to finding a new club.

Upon confirmation that his time at Leeds was over, Clarke posted a tribute to his boyhood club: "Was always a dream of mine too play for [Leeds], a dream I managed to fulfil and I will be forever thankful for. I would like to thank the club, staff and all the players I’ve learnt from and got to know over the years."

Clarke is back in north London ahead of an expected second loan spell away from Tottenham but, not forgetting his Yorkshire roots, made the short trip over to the Emirates Stadium as Leeds played Arsenal in the FA Cup.

A fantastic first-half showing from Marcelo Bielsa's Championship leaders saw the Gunners hemmed inside their own half, but Leeds failed to make their dominance count. Reiss Nelson's second half goal was enough to settle the cup tie.

Clarke will be hoping he is on the pitch next time his club visit the Emirates.
