Tottenham star Heung-min Son was back in action for South Korea after being forced to quarantine after four team-mates tested positive for coronavirus.
Son was not one of the four South Korea players to have tested positive, but was required to self-isolate in his hotel room as the rest of the squad awaited further test results.
The Korea Football Association confirmed that Son's teammates Lee Dong-jun, Kwon Chang-hoon, Hwang In-beom, goalkeeper Jo Hyeon-woo and an unidentified member of staff had tested positive for Covid-19.
The results had put South Korea's friendly against Mexico on Saturday night in doubt.
Two more players tested positive in the next round of tests, but Son was not among them - and the game was allowed to go ahead.
Son started the match as captain and notched an assist as his cross was turned home by Hwang Ui-jo after 20 minutes.

However, Mexico scored three goals in four second-half minutes to take a 3-1 lead over Son's side.
A number of international camps have been hit by positive tests during this break. Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has tested positive while away with Egypt after attending his brother's wedding in his home country.
Furthermore, Ireland and Preston North End midfielder Alan Browne tested positive on Friday after playing 90 minutes against England in a friendly at Wembley on Thursday night.
