Tottenham's Ben Davies limps off vs Chelsea in another injury blow for Spurs

Ben Davies limped off during Tottenham's EFL Cup semi-final clash against Chelsea to hand Mauricio Pochettino yet another injury headache.

Tottenham have been hit hard by injuries in recent weeks, with Pochettino missing Harry Kane and Dele Alli for Thursday night's second leg clash at Stamford Bridge due to ankle and hamstring injuries respectively.

Spurs' forward options have been cut deep with Heung-min Son also on international duty, and Davies added another problem at the back as he suffered an injury against Chelsea.

Following treatment on the pitch, Davies limped off and went straight down the tunnel as Danny Rose was sent on to play at left-back.

Spurs will hope that the injury is not too serious as the games come thick and fast, with a last-16 Champions League clash against Borussia Dortmind coming up next month.

Moussa Sissoko returned from a hamstring problem to boost Pochettino's options, while Victor Wanyama should also be fit to return for Spurs' weekend FA Cup clash against Crystal Palace.
