Tottenham have confirmed that the club shops and stadium skywalk will be closed from tomorrow, after it was confirmed that London would be entering Tier 4 restrictions.
Prime minister Boris Johnson confirmed earlier today that from Sunday, December 20, London and parts of the South East will enter Tier 4 restrictions amid a growing number of coronavirus cases in the capital.
This means that from one minute past midnight, people living in these regions will be under tighter coronavirus rules.
All non-essential shops will shut, including hairdressers, gyms leisure and entertainment venues such as cinemas, while the prime minister has confirmed that the new restrictions will be broadly equivalent to national restrictions which were introduced in England in November.
And Spurs have confirmed that includes the club shops and The Dare Skywalk at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with supporters with bookings set to be contacted directly.
In a statement, Tottenham said: "Following London being placed into Tier 4 of the national COVID-19 restriction measures, our Spurs Shops and The Dare Skywalk will close from Sunday (20 December) until further notice.
"If you have an existing Skywalk booking you will be contacted directly.
"Our online Spurs Shop remains open - fans in the UK are still able to place express delivery orders by 12:00 on Monday to receive them in time for Christmas.
"As previously announced, our Stadium Tours also remain closed until further notice.
"We should like to wish all our fans and their loved ones well at this difficult time."
As part of the tighter Tier 4 restrictions, no Christmas bubbles will be allowed at all and residents will be subject to "stay at home orders" meaning they cannot travel to a lower-ranking area.
