Tottenham release statement after Premier League's extended coronavirus shutdown

Tottenham Hotspur have responded to the extended Premier League shutdown with information about tickets for fans.

The Premier League announced, in a joint statement with the FA, EFL, Women's Super League as well as the Professional Footballers' Association and League Managers’ Association, that football will not return until April 30 at the earliest.

They will also look to find a way to resume their respective seasons and have indefinitely extended the FA limits on when those seasons can be completed.

Tottenham's fixtures against Manchester United and West Ham United had already been postponed with the first shutdown announcement and now the games against Sheffield United, Everton, Bournemouth and the north London derby against Arsenal need to be rescheduled.

Spurs announced on Thursday that "any fan who has purchased a ticket for any fixture during this period, including Season Ticket Holders and those who have purchased via Ticket Exchange, will be able to use the ticket for the rescheduled match.

"Should any Season Ticket Holders who have sold their seats for any home Premier League fixture via Ticket Exchange wish to attend the rescheduled fixture, they will be required to purchase from available seats on Ticket Exchange once the new fixture dates are confirmed.

"If you have purchased a ticket and are unable to attend a rearranged Premier League fixture, ticket refund requests following confirmation of the revised date can be made by submitting the refund form available on Ask Spurs.

"Those who have purchased tickets for our forthcoming Barclays FA Women’s Super League matches at The Hive who are unable to attend rearranged fixtures, once the dates have been confirmed, should email tellus@thehivelondon.com to obtain a refund.

"We advise supporters to speak to their travel provider directly for any re-arranged travel requirements.

"Match travel booked through the Big Green Coach service will be valid for the rearranged fixtures. Any refund requests can be made by email to customerservice@biggreencoach.co.uk."
