Tottenham receive another injury boost as Ben Davies joins Harry Kane in full training

Tottenham have received another injury boost ahead of the weekend as left-back Ben Davies joined Harry Kane in full training.

The Wales international has missed the past five matches with a groin strain and Jan Vertonghen was forced to play left wing-back, spectacularly, in the 3-0 win over Borussia Dortmund last week.

It means Dele Alli is currently the club's only absentee with a hamstring problem, having returned from a three-week training camp in Dubai, and Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino has decisions to make across the pitch – not least whether to risk Kane from the start after the striker missed seven matches with ankle ligament damage.

With Fernando Llorente and Heung-Min Son in fine form, Pochettino may decide to start Kane on the bench, particularly key fixtures on the horizon.

After the trip to Turf Moore, Spurs face Chelsea then Arsenal in the Premier League before their second leg against Borussia Dortmund at Westfalenstadion.
