Tottenham qualify for Champions League knockout stages in Jose Mourinho home debut as manager

Tottenham have qualified for the Champions League knockout stages after a comeback win over Olympiacos.

Goals from Youssef El-Arabi and Ruben Semedo saw the visitors cruising inside 20 minutes, prompting new manager Jose Mourinho to sacrifice Eric Dier for Christian Eriksen in a first-half substitution.

Dele Alli was gifted a goal back on the stroke of half-time, and it was all Spurs from then on. Harry Kane and Serge Aurier completed the job.

Bayern Munich thrashed Red Star in Belgrade as Roberto Lewandowski scored four of six to confirm top spot in Group B.

Spurs reach the last-16 stage for the third consecutive season. They lost to Juventus are the following hurdle in 2017-18 and went all the way to the final, before losing to Liverpool last term.

Mourinho has won the Champions League twice as manager - with Porto and Inter - but was knocked out by Sevilla in the last-16 stage when Manchester United manager, his last outing in the competition.
