Tottenham provide positive injury update on Giovani Lo Celso and Ryan Sessegnon

Giovani Lo Celso and Ryan Sessegnon could both be back on the pitch very soon after Spurs issued an injury update on the pair.

Both signing on deadline day to add to the summer additions of Tanguy Ndombele and Jack Clarke, only Lo Celso has featured for the first team so far.

Coming off the bench in three games following his move from Real Betis, the highly-rated midfielder unfortunately picked up a hip injury on international duty and it was believed that he would be out of action until November.

Brighton v Tottenham: Graham Potter press conference

While the Argentine has appeared for Spurs this season, Sessegnon, on the other hand, has had to watch on from the sidelines due to a hamstring injury sustained while representing England U21s in the summer.

However, it appears that their time in the treatment room is coming to an end as the club stated that the duo are "entering late stages of rehabilitation" when they provided an injury update ahead of Saturday's trip to Brighton.

With both players unfortunately going to miss out again at the AMEX, the international break after the game against the Seagulls will give them two more weeks to recover before the team return to action against Watford.

Spurs have a busy end to October with Red Star Belgrade and Liverpool also on the agenda and both players will have their fingers crossed that they will be back on the pitch for those games.
