Erik Lamela could be set to return to action for Tottenham on Sunday against Marine in the FA Cup.
Last involved for Spurs in the 1-1 draw away at Wolves just after Christmas, the Argentine was one of three of the club's players in the headlines last weekend after a photo of emerged of them breaching coronavirus lockdown rules.
Lamela, Giovani Lo Celso and Sergio Reguilon, as well as West Ham midfielder Manuel Lanzini, were pictured together in a large gathering over the festive period.
Spurs later issued a statement condemning their actions, with Reguilon the only one of the Spurs trio named in the matchday squad for the win over Leeds United.
Jose Mourinho was quizzed about Lamela ahead of the Carabao Cup tie against Brentford and stated that he was "not available" for the game against the London club.
However, it does now appear that the ex-Roma man could be back on the pitch for Spurs on Sunday in the FA Cup tie against Marine.
On the club's official website when providing an update on Gareth Bale's fitness, it stated that Lamela "may also return" for the cup game in Crosby.
Lo Celso, who picked up an injury in last month's 2-0 defeat against Leicester City, remains out, however.
When asked at his pre-match press conference about Bale's fitness after coming off at half time against Stoke City with a calf injury, the boss revealed that the Welshman has returned to training and he wants to be part of the squad to face Marine.
“Gareth trained today for first time with us, tomorrow the second time, and tomorrow after training we will make a decision," he said.
"What I can say, and is also a way to show you the respect we are looking to this fixture, is that Gareth told us he would like to go, he would like to play, so, if tomorrow the feelings are positive, he will come.”
Mourinho also revealed when previewing the third round clash that Jack Clarke and Harvey White will be involved, with one of the club's U18 players also set to make the trip north.
