Tottenham predicted team vs Wolves: Joe Rodon left out again but Tanguy Ndombele returns

Tottenham Hotspur's top six destiny is now back in their hands but they need to get back to winning ways against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Spurs were disappointing in their 3-1 defeat at Leeds United last weekend, having won their first two Premier League games under Ryan Mason.

While mathematically Tottenham could still finish in the top four, they are now more concerned with finishing in a Europa League qualification spot and have Everton and Arsenal breathing down their necks.

West Ham's draw at Brighton on Saturday night means that Spurs can finish sixth at the least if they win all three of their remaining games.

Tottenham's interim head coach needs to make a couple of changes at least as the team looked well off the pace at times on Saturday against Leeds.

Eric Dier had a nightmare of a day at Elland Road, involved in all three of the goals Spurs conceded.

However, football.london understands that Joe Rodon will once again not be in the matchday squad which means Mason will either stick with Dier or give Davinson Sanchez a chance.

Elsewhere in the team, Mason must make a decision over Tanguy Ndombele and whether the Frenchman finally deserves to return to the starting XI after another game in which Spurs struggled to keep possession of the ball.

His return would likely see either Giovani Lo Celso or Gareth Bale lose their spot. The Welshman was the more disappointing of the two midfielders but can produce that magic that Spurs need.

Here is the team we reckon Mason will go with:

4-2-3-1: Lloris; Aurier, Sanchez, Alderweireld, Reguilon; Hojbjerg, Ndombele; Bale, Alli, Son; Kane.
