Tottenham predicted team vs Wolves: Defence changes but Nuno goes strong as Ndombele plays again

Nuno Espirito Santo will need to balance getting some of his Tottenham players sharper while trying to get some good feeling back into the club with his team selection against Wolves.

Having won their first three matches of the Premier League season, Spurs have now lost back-to-back London derbies 3-0 and they need to get back on track in a big week for the club.

First up is the Carabao Cup third round clash at Espirito Santo's old side Wolves, swiftly followed by a north London derby against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Espirito Santo's choice will be between keeping some players fresh for the derby or giving them the chance to get Sunday's defeat to Chelsea out of their system.

It's too early in the season for the players to accumulate much match fatigue and this might not be the week to dish out game time to too many fringe players.

Certain players will have been promised minutes in cup competitions, particularly at the back, and the head coach can still cater to them.

Japhet Tanganga is back from suspension but Lucas Moura and Steven Bergwijn remain out through injury.

The likes of Tanguy Ndombele and Giovani Lo Celso need to continue to build up their fitness levels.

Here is the team we reckon Espirito Santo will go with at Molineux:

(4-3-3) Gollini; Tanganga, Sanchez, Romero, Davies; Ndombele, Skipp, Hojbjerg; Lo Celso, Kane, Son.
