Tottenham predicted team vs West Brom: Fans get to see dream trio as Mourinho makes big decision

Jose Mourinho's Tottenham side have the chance to be sitting top of the Premier League table come the full-time whistle at The Hawthorns this afternoon.

Currently trailing surprise league leaders Southampton by two points, a win against West Brom will see them leapfrog Ralph Hasenhuttl's men and take pole position.

However, it could potentially only be for a matter of hours with Leicester City and Liverpool, who are both ahead of the Lilywhites currently, in action later in the day.

Coming into the game in confident mood following Thursday's 3-1 win over Ludogorets in the Europa League, Mourinho will make a few changes here and there to his side to freshen things up.

Mourinho compares Ludogorets win to Antwerp loss

The head coach has two key decisions to make for the midday kick-off and they come at centre-back and in that right-side attacking midfield spot.

Sergio Reguilon is over the flu and will come back in at left-back, while Tanguy Ndombele and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg will return to the starting line-up in the centre of the pitch and Hugo Lloris will be back between the sticks with the captain's armband.

Erik Lamela is out with an Achilles injury and Serge Aurier missed the match in Bulgaria with a small problem but he could potentially be back in contention if he is deemed fit enough.

In defence, it's unlikely that both Eric Dier and Toby Alderweireld will be able to play three matches in seven days so one is likely to make way with Davinson Sanchez and Joe Rodon looking to step in.

Mourinho must also decide whether it's time to unleash Gareth Bale, Son Heung-min and Harry Kane from the start together for the first time.

The Spurs boss admitted that Bale could have played the full 90 minutes against Ludogorets, but he wanted to look after him following a good display.

Lucas Moura will also be in contention following a goal and assist in the Europa League victory.

Here is the Spurs team we reckon Mourinho will choose to face West Brom:

(4-3-3) Lloris; Doherty, Sanchez, Dier, Reguilon; Sissoko, Hojbjerg, Ndombele; Bale, Kane, Son.
