Tottenham predicted team vs Shkendija: Joe Hart to start but injuries mean four miss out

Jose Mourinho has plenty of fresh players to call upon as Tottenham travel to North Macedonia but he will not have everyone available.

Spurs take on Shkendija in the Europa League third qualifying round on Thursday night and with the called off Leyton Orient match Mourinho will now have a nearly full squad of pretty much refreshed players to choose from.

He is still missing Japhet Tanganga through injury, although the young defender has begun his outdoor return, while Gareth Bale will not be back in action until next month with his knee problem.

Jose Mourinho amazing gesture to Macedonian journalist

Mourinho explained that Sergio Reguilon is not ready yet to play and there have been suggestions that another transfer window recruit, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, was one of a couple of players who picked up minor knocks in the victory at Southampton and will be rested.

Dele Alli was left out of the trip to Bulgaria last week but Mourinho said he would travel to North Macedonia but did not indicate whether he will start the game on the pitch or bench.

For Mourinho it's about whether he wants to give minutes to those who need them or look to continue to improve the fitness of his regular starters.

Joe Hart could be given a start in goal after missing out on his debut at Orient on Tuesday night.

He could give Giovani Lo Celso and Tanguy Ndombele another split shift in the number 10 role if Alli is not given a starting spot.

Here is the team we reckon Mourinho will choose to play on Thursday night.

(4-2-3-1): Hart; Aurier, Alderweireld, Sanchez, Davies; Sissoko, Winks; Lamela, Lo Celso, Bergwijn; Kane.
