Nuno Espirito Santo confirmed to football.london that he will be making 11 changes to his Tottenham Hotspur side as they take on Pacos de Ferreira on Thursday night.
All 11 players who started in the victory against Manchester City have been given a rest, while Harry Kane, Tanguy Ndombele and Serge Aurier have also been left to train at Hotspur Way, with the latter duo not named in the squad for the two Europa Conference League play-off legs.
Joe Rodon is struggling with a small thigh injury, while Moussa Sissoko was not among those training on Wednesday evening in Portugal.
Espirito Santo confirmed that 17-year-old striker Dane Scarlett would be starting a competitive game for the first time.
New signings Cristian Romero, Bryan Gil and Pierliugi Gollini could all join him while a large number of academy players have also made the trip abroad, such as Nile John, Harvey White, Jack Clarke, J'Neil Bennett and Maksim Paskotsi.
Harry Winks, Ben Davies, Matt Doherty and Ryan Sessegnon, who made his return from injury with the U23s on Monday night, will all be hoping to get minutes under the belts.
The versatile Davies could either play at left-back with Sessegnon playing further up the pitch or the Welshman could move into central defence to allow the England U21 international to play at left-back, opening up a spot further up the pitch for a player such as Clarke.
